A cosmetic procedure also known as Follicular Unit Transplantation helps to restore hair growth. During the procedure, hair follicile (donar site) is moved to the resistant site (bald area) – a surgery which takes 4-6 hours and is performed under mild sedation or local anesthesia. There can be multiple sessions depending on the expectation of the patient.
Recovery: Shampooing is important to avoid the risk of loosing newly implanted hair follicle during the first 7 to 10 days after the procedure. The patient hair will begin to grow, after two to three months of the surgery, followed by hair thickening. The recovery is immediate, and the patient can resume office, from day 1 after the surgery.
