Dr Roopa Mepani is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and head of the Department working as OT coordinator with wockhardt Hospital
She completed her post-graduation in Anaesthesia from Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group of hospitals, Mumbai in 1999 Following that she worked as a lecturer in the same hospital & was managing patients in the OT & state of art Critical care Unit
She has also completed her European Diploma in Anaesthesia and intensive care
She is also a gold medallist in her postgraduate diploma in hospital management and healthcare from Mumbai University

She is also trained in anaesthesia for oncosurgery from Tata Hospital which is the premium institute in India for cancer care
Her experience in anesthetizing patients is more than 23 years…Which deals with handling patients for various surgeries like laparoscopy, Orthopaedic neurosurgery, cosmetic surgery & managing them postoperatively.
Area of expertise: General Anaesthesia and Regional Anaesthesia for adult patients both elective and emergency cases in high-risk cases

Experience in oncosurgery especially head & neck surgery & expertise in the use of fibreoptic bronchoscope for difficult airway
